Jigging rod for Steelhead on the Sandy / Clackamas in Oregon

I'm looking to get a nice long rod for jigging this coming fall, but don't know which model is the best for my uses. I fish the Sandy, Nehalem and Clackamas. Any suggestions? I want something longer than 8', I'm currently using a 7.5' Cabelas Spinning Rod with a Penn 550ssg, but am not adverse to switching over to a casting setup.

Thanks!

I would recommend you look at the X96JS. It is our most versatile steelhead rod and is built specifically for jig fishing.
