Casting Rod for Klamath Springers

I am looking for a good, mid-priced casting rod to fish for spring Chinook on the Klamath River in California. I'll be anchor fishing using in-line spinners or Rogue bait rigs, and sometimes a wrapped Kwikfish. Any other applications for this rod (such as fall Chinook on the Klamath and Trinity) would be a bonus, but not totally necessary. Any advice would be appreciated.

If it will be all from a boat

If it will be all from a boat I would go with the XCF803 as it makes a great fall rod also. If you will be doing some drift fishing from shore I would look at the G1313T. The 1313 does not do as well in the fall.

Thanks jcoop. Yes, I'll be fishing about 99% from a boat. What about an option in graphite that I can compare to the XCF803?

The 803 will do most boat

The 803 will do most boat fishing better than a graphite rod, except back bouncing eggs and for that I would go with the X80mbc.

803 all the way. Broke the 30# mark last fall on my 803 and is still fun for the 10# silvers running around on the coast. Best, most versatile rod I own.
