Looking for a steelhead rod and was wondering what you would recommend. The EXC 92 M, the Si 90MC, or the Si 94MC? Would be used for drift fishing and spinners only (already have a 9'6" certified pro for float fishing). Thanks.

the 9 ft 2 xmg is a great rod. just have to be careful with the rod. this rod is very sensitive you can feel everything. i hooked two silvers on mine i could feel them headshakeing when i set the hook. the 9 ft 2 xmg is my favorite. it is one of the best drift rods you will be hard pressed to find a better one. i have 9 ft si it came yesterday. so i have not had time to fish it yet so can not give you a review. either one will fit the bill. just matters how much you want to spend
Lamiglas makes alot of good drift rods depends on the water your fishing any given weekend. Iv got the 89 10-20 but id love an 89 8-15 in a med instead of a medium heavy 10-20 for low water. I dont think i would have trouble with a 8-12
Tight lines
We like all of them! However it really boils down to a personal decision. I personally love my EXC 92 M the most although the new Si series is quickly becoming the newest favorite of many northwest anglers. Hope this helps.
