cracking noise

I have lamiglas x10 mhc rod. the 2nd piece making craking noise when the rod flexs. someone told me is comon. but I don't want break the rod while I'm fishing. any advice would be appericiated. thank you

Guusy, Is the rod brand new?

Guusy,

Is the rod brand new? If so than it is more than likely one of the guides creaking and will go away after a few uses. Can be a common noise to hear but is not detrimental at all. Hope this helps.

Sometimes the clear around

Sometimes the clear around the guides will do that iv got a brand new never used rod that does it.
