I am looking for 7' or 7'6 fiberglass trolling rod to be used from my kayak for stripers and blues. It will be used for trolling a tube and worm. I would like a rod that would make schoolies fun but be able to land the big boys. I know it will probably be a custom made rod but that is alright. Any suggestions?

I would look into to a BT96 3M rod blank with 6"cut of the butt end. These are good rods for live bait like eels and will work good for trolling a tube. Cutting the butt short will probably void the warrenty but the rod will have the back bone to handle a good sized fish. I use a BT108 3m as a surf rod for throwing eels and it works great.
