SI rods for side drifting

I am currently using XC 96 LLS rods to side drift for steelhead, looking to upgrade my rods and was just wondering which rod is best the SI or the XMG 50.

I think both rods are good

I think both rods are good for that, the only thing is the price. The SI if you can afford that is prob the best but the XMG is also a super rod. I have an XMG and I like it better than my Loomis IMX. But thats just me. My buddy has a SI and it feels super also, so I really depends on what your willing to pay for.

The Si 96 LS was designed

The Si 96 LS was designed specifically for side drifting and has been a great performer for those that own them. They have a super light and soft tip with loads of power for larger steelhead as well. You will not be disappointed with this rod.
