SR705R for throwing bucktail jigs?

Was thinking about getting a SR705R. I own 2 XCF705Rs and I love them. I was wondering if the SR705Rs would be suitable to throw 1/2oz bucktail jigs? The XC 705 would probably be better, but I really want something made of fiberglass.
