Ok, I called some old guys

Ok, I called some old guys who like the heavy actioned graphite rods in general for Pike fishing and such. Dan said that he thinks he fished your rod for pike casting Suicks when he still had all his teeth. He doesn't remember it having a pistol grip though. He said Mudhole has some discountinued 15 lb 6 ft boat rod blanks last he looked that may work in your type graphite. He said he once got a 20 lb blank of that series that was a monster, so maybe the 15 might work, Todd Vivian once with Lamiglas is now at Mudhole and is easy to get a hold of for questions, either by phone, or email.
Lamiglas made a really heavy IM 700 blank for maybe throwing frogs to bass the IMC 807 and a longer IMC847 that are generally in your power range but a foot or so longer. Both were rated 1 to 3 oz.
