XSRA 1321-2

I have a 2 piece 1321 that is now a 1 piece and I can't seem to separate the two halves. It's not really a big problem because now I eliminated the problem of the rod turning out of alignment on me. But I would like to break it down so that I can pack it for traveling on a plane.

Any suggestions?
