I am looking at matching a Diawa Saltist 6500H spinning reel to a Lamiglas surf rod. What would be a good-great match. I am looking at being able to cast 100-150 yards using 2-6 oz lures. I will be using either 20-30 lbs mono or a similar braided line. I would need to be able to travel be air with the rod also, so multi-piece would be important. I will be fishing off the coast of Cabo San Lucas so it is very important to be able to cast a long way. Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
