Josh,
I have come to really like Lamiglas "Inshore Classic Graphite" blanks and have built several conventional rods on the 7ft IC 84's. I used the same guides and guide spacing on the M, MH, and H blanks and they work very well for the intended jigging, trolling and some casting from a kayak. I also build these blanks as "spiral wraps" using the same guides and spacing as on the traditional wrapped blanks and placing the first two guides at 60 and 120 degrees to rotate the line to the bottom of the blank. I really like the IC 84 H with a spiral wrap when boat jigging for large fish in deep, fast moving waters requiring heavy jigs.
My question;
1. Would you change my guide spacing. From Tip= 4 in, 8 3/4, 3 3/4, 19 1/4, 25 1/4, 31 3/8, 39, 48 3/8. If so what would you use?
Thanks for your comments

Depending on your handle length that spacing looks really good. If you are running a long rear grip IE 14"+ your stripper could be a bit far back and all would need some adjustments. But I assume since you are using these for kayak rods they have shorter rear grips and will do great.
