Heavy Water Steelhead and Light Salmon Bobber Rod Advice

I'd like your recommendation on lightest casting rod available in the 9'6" (ish) range that is capable of reguarly handling a 1 oz bobber set-up. I routinely bobber fish in heavy flow rivers where I need the 1 oz weight for the correct presentation under the bobber, but I don't want to have to cast a heavy 10 foot plus rod all day. I'm looking for your expertise to help steer me in the right direction.

FYI, I've tried the 10-11' mooching rods and I know that's not the direction I want to go....
Thanks in advance,
Maklp

I would suggest you take a look at our X 10 MTC or the X 106MHC. Although these two rods are longer than you are wanting, they are light weight graphite rods designed to fish spoons and floats. We unfortunately do not make a rod in the 9'6" range that is designed for salmon or heavy lead, thus the reason I would suggest the above models. Hope this helps.
