First time here so I might mess up. I was going to do up a Certified Pro blank and bumped into something. The rods sold uder the Bill Herzod & Dave Vedder signature bit have the finish on the guides wrap that almost matches the trans brown color of the rod which is a very nice effect. Is something added to the finish on the wraps or thread to acheive this? The effect is rather eye catching but not sure how to get it.

I use a lite wrap finsh not a high build so............................
