I love my two Stealth Si rods dearly, but I just found out couple days ago that the scissors hanging on my right front chest put a lot of small scratches on one of the rod handles, the scratches were on clear coatings over the Lamiglas logo. I had since then changed the location of my scissors, but I'm just wondering if I can install a tennis racket overgrip to over the scratched logo section. The overgrip does not have any adhesives on the back (I won't use the adhesive on the other end). I just want to check if there are any problems doing these, especially in long term (not going to chemically react right?). I think the overgrip I want to install is made out of rubber (not sure the type of rubber).

Should not be a problem at all, there is a company called rod wrap that would do the same thing, hope this helps.

On the other hand, if Lamiglas can make some kind of wrap pieces with logo on it and with velcro , it would be really sweet!
