I have 2 quite old 8'6" honey blanks with what looks to be a gold woven tinsil on outiside of the thread wraps, and around the ferrule. I was wondering if that was a production model or if they were custom. Also if it were custom what would be the model # of the blank since the 8'6" models are no longer made I can't find any info on them. Also I was told that you used to make the old ll bean rods? I came a ccross a Bean's Featherweight, and was wondering if you knew what wt it was.
