I found this blank to build up and wanted to know a little more about it. I believe it is a 8'6" 10wt but that is about all I know. Can someone tell me a little more about it and what it would compare to in the newer models. Also what color. Thanks.

That's a saltwater fly blank I believe, composite/graphite comparable the the Blue Water series factory rods.
No one knows as much as all of us.
what is the difference between a saltwater blank and freshwater? I looked for the blue water series but could not find it.
Saltwater blanks are built with more backbone and durability. I have no problem getting info through Google. I think the blanks listed are from the 2004 or so catalog. The Bluewater series are a bit newer with Triflex construction much like other Lamiglas saltwater rods, and they are now limited to heavier 15 wt rods I believe now.
