IM 700 tip replacement?

I have an Im700 8 wt Built from a blank and I broke about 2" of the tip off. When I built it I used gold cermet guides, (no longer available) So going to SIC . If I remember right the tip was 5.5, Anyone got specs on a 9' 2pc IM700 8 wt ? I was thinking a 6.0 sic would work. Would This fit right? TIA Mike

If a 5.5 worked before a 6

If a 5.5 worked before a 6 should be more than large enough.

I bought a IMT907 without

I bought a IMT907 without inspecting it ,turns out there is about 12" missing off the top.. Is there any chance I could get that top piece without a purchase receipt ? I'd be willing to pay whatever.

Go ahead and send the whole

Go ahead and send the whole blank back to us so that we can get a top half to match your butt section. The cost would be 25% of the total blank cost, if that makes sense. Hope this helps.
