What type of material is used for the Black Salt series and Indian River rods? I know they are not XMG...
Thanks

Hello Ron
The Black Salt or The older IRFA Series are made of a blend of IM Material and XM 50 material. They Hold up very well and are super light weight and sensitive. Hope this helps have a great day!!!

Jason,
Thanks for the info. I just received my Black Salt blank as a replacement for my broken Indian River rod. Where can I find spacing and guide size recommendations for it (BS 722S factory rod). It is 7'2", 1/8-38, 4-10 lb test model. I did not see a 2013 blank spacing/guide document.
Thanks
