Looking for surf rod to match penn ssv6500

Looking for advice on a rod for the penn ssv 6500. I want to mainly throw lures with this rod as I have another few rods that I can chunk bait with. Any suggestions without breaking the bank to badly. I want something able to cast at least 3/4 ounces of weight. I am new to surf casting so I also was thinking I don't want anything to big that I couldn't handle while wading. I hope this all makes sense. Thanks for the help in advance.

correct that was 3 to 4

correct that was 3 to 4 ounces not .75 ounce

I am looking to pair up a Shimano Tranx 500hg with an 11 or 12 ft., 2 piece surf casting rod capable of handling both bait to 6 oz. and large lures. Any suggestions? I have a Lamiglas XCRA 1205 10 ft. single piece rod, which is too light for the reel and the application.
