LHS Esprit Graphite Rod

Hello there,
I have just re found an older Lamiglas Esprit Graphite LHS 9 1/2 ft, 7wt, 2 piece, 3 1/2 oz fly rod that I loaned to a friend years ago and now have had it returned. I have truly forgotten what modulus graphite this rod is and the action assigned to this rod at the time. Can you refesh me? I plan now to use it for Spring Steelhead in the Salmon River, Pulaski, NY and believe it will be suitable for drift fishing the runs at moderate to lower water flows of 500-750 cfs using an intermediate running line and slinky set up and perhaps swinging streamers and light weight split shot with a rocket taper 7 wt bass/salt water taper Cortland 333HT WF line and Scientific Angler System 2M 8/9 wt reel and 150 yds 20# Micron backing set up. Do you agree?

Modulus of the graphite won't

Modulus of the graphite won't be much value to you. Doing a Common Cents test on your rod will be quick and easy and answer all the questions you asked if you read all the articles involved.
If you look at the data already collected at the superbob.org site you'll see that industry discriptions of many rods you have or have used have little to do with each other.
Offhand I'd say you'll be OK.

No one knows as much as all of us.
