Bought new XCC 934 for trolling and am looking for reel recommendations. Something in the mid range $200 or less. Hunting the internet has only confused the question, everyone has an opinion with no experience to back it up. Fish mostly Columbia, Drano, Snake and rod is used for Salmon 30# PowerPro.
Thanks

Trolling big water needs a line counter reel, especially if you're fishing other rods in the boat. It'll help you cover more of the water column. My two favorites are the Tekota 500LC and the Okuma Catalina 15.

Just looked at the Tekota 500LC today, seems bullet proof. I have a Okuma Magda Pro on my spare but was trying to downsize a little but it looks like the bigger is probably the standard. Thanks for you input, I will look at the Catalina 15 and compair the 2. Thanks again

the tekota 500lc is the best bang for your buck imoa and yes they are bullet proof. The 300lc are nice also and yes they can handle the fall kings...
bobber down all day long, tight lines!!!!!
No brainer!!!! Tekota 500Lc. Have 3 of them for the columbia and for pulling diver and bait. Best reels out there for what you are looking to do. 2 of mine are on the xcc 934. And one is on my xcc 1064.

Thanks for the input. I am going with the 500lc on the xcc934 and will try the 300 for the jigging rod. Thanks again.
