Hi , I just bought the surf king 9'rod SK9MS 2 piece. I tested with a few test casts and then cast away and the top went right into the Pacific ocean and I just stood there stunned. I retrieved but the lure got hooked in seaweed and line snapped, and the piece never returned. My retailer is mailing it back but why did the top piece just fly off like that, its never happened to me in 6 years of casting hair razors? Its obviously a loose fit.
