I am a relatively new steelhead fisherman and I have decide to invest in a high quality spinning rod. I am having trouble deciding on an all around rod. I am thinking of the xmg 50 series but am afraid that it is too fragile for a fisherman of minimal experience ? Should I be worried about this? Also any recommendations for a rod good for small to medium sized steelhead?
