best bank rod for salmon

Any suggestions on what would be the best fit for bank fishing the deschutes and hood rivers in Oregon for salmon trying to find the best multi use rod with enough backbone to handle a fat boy tuggin on it thanks

I would suggest you take a

I would suggest you take a look at the X 89 MTC. Would be the best all around salmon and steelhead option for you for those river systems.

What about the G1000 kenai pro spinning rods and what are the chances I could find one or a 2nd at the factory cheaper than I can online
