I fish mostly freshwater and have a small quiver for salt... please help.

Hello and thank you for your attention to this matter...

As stated I fish mostly fresh water in NJ and have numerous rods for different applications. Currently, I have only 1 rod dedicated to salt water fishing. I have a mh 7'2'' casting rod for pitching heavy plugs and metals. I would like to get a spinning setup for tossing lighter plugs (2oz) from boat and beach/jetty.

I have researched some of your models and have 3 different options... tex 7825 s , ic 76 hs , tfx 7040 s

Which would you suggest and why? Or if not any of the three selected please advise.

Thanks in advance.

Steve

For your application I would

For your application I would go with the TEX7825S as it is built of triflex materials and has a light tip with a bunch of backbone. Making for a very versatile rod.
