Anyways, this rod has never been used and very beautiful. I'm curious to know when it was made, what kind of action and what the value is on it. I want to to put a reel on it but figure I should check this thing out first. Thanks everyone.

Esprit rods were the line that led to the very nice XMG rods. Kind of like the first generation. My 9 1/2 ft, 7 wt, 3 piece is one of my favorites. Faster actions, yet easy to cast/fish.
No one knows as much as all of us.
Thanks for getting back to me. Any idea what it's worth being completely unused. Hopefully not much cuz I wanna put a reel on it.
