Hear there is a new 1 piece 12 wt being tested. Can this be confirmed by anyone, and if so is there anyway to get hold of a blank. I would love to build and try one out on Tarpon. Thanks

We custom rod builders have

We custom rod builders have been making 1 piece tarpon fly rods out of hotshot blanks successfully for many years. Bass rods from popping rod blanks and deepwater fly rods from hotshot and backbouncing blanks.

No one knows as much as all of us.

Yes we are currently working on that blank. We are actually working on a whole series of one-piece fly rods for the tarpon market in Florida. We do not have blanks available at this time but I am sure that we will once the built rods are introduced. I hope this helps.
