Would the EXC 94MT work for throwing plugs/spinners and freedrifting? Thanks
No it won't, free drifting is a light line, mostly spinning gear presentation. I find the most important part of free drifting for me is to be sure all the gear in the water is identical, except for maybe the terminal weight which will change some with depth. All lines have to follow very similar paths in the drift to keep the gear seperated. Much easier with identical rods, reels and line on everything in the water.
No one knows as much as all of us.
Ok so would it work good for throwing plugs and spinners?
What rod would be good for free drifting? Thanks
Ya it would work great for either or. As far as free drifting goes i would suggest either our EXS 96 ll or our new Si96LS. Hope this helps.
