Salmon Jigging rod

Looking for advice on selection for a Jigging rod for Salmon. Super light and sensative to feel the pick up on the drop. Down't want too soft a rod as jigging 2 to 4 ounce jigs all day can wear ya out. I'm thinking 8' heavy with a xtra fast action. Anything Lamiglas has that is skeletonized for that sensative feel of the blank clear through the hand. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

See if Sportco still has any

See if Sportco still has any G 1302-T rods in the rack. Called the Puget Jigger.

Yea, the 200 mile road trip

Yea, the 200 mile road trip from Walla Walla at $4 a gallon makes it a little rough. Gonna try Bi-mart for a cascade proXT and see if they have anything. Will let ya know, thanks. You guys had suggested an XMG 50 10'6' ML for steelhead last year. Got one and am singing it's praises still. Carded a Butt load of Steelies with it and is by far my favorite rod. Saving for a new Si now!!! Where do I get truck window stickers so I can advertise for you guys?

Thanks

If you can find one shipping

If you can find one shipping won't be much as it's a 7 1/2 ft 2 piece blank design, made on a east coast style livebait blank which are fast tips to sling bait to stripers, etc. I believe the Willamette Special G 1332-T was also built on that blank as a backbouncer, very versatile rods, I know people who also use them on pike and lakers in Canada as fly-in rods.
