Looking for a casting rod to use on Northwest beaches/jetties going after surf perch, black bass, and lings. Will be casting 1 to 3 oz's of weight. Probably a rod somewhere between 8 and 10 feet? The rigging for all three is simple either a lead head jig with rubber tail. Or some sort of a sinker, and leader set up. Sort of a jigging/plunking rod I guess you could say?
