surf rod for eastern fl

what would you recommend for a surf rod for eastern fl primarily pompano whiting from the beach using up to 4 oz lead with small cut bait.

I think you would appreciate the total performance, of the two piece XSRA 1322-2 rated for 1-5oz lures. The XSRA 1322-2 guide layout is advantages for braid or mono line and also excellent for traveling. Hope This Helps.

I just purchased the xsra

I just purchased the xsra 1322-2 and tried it out in the cape cod canal on the way home. It was just what I was looking for, a rod that will throw a 4 oz. pencil popper and have the softness/sensitivity to fish 1 oz. sp minnows. They tell me it has a lifetime warrantee so my wife is gonna be happy I don't have to buy another surf rods again.
