I like the idea of simplicity but with a bit of specialization for certain techniques. I see Skeet has 4 models, does he incorporate every bass fishing technique within those 4 signature models or does he use any non signature models?

He does use some other specialty rods for some things. But I think he gets 90 percent of his fishing done with his signature rods.

If you check Bassmaster's past issues you will see Reese uses the Certified Pro 806 for his flippin. If i'm right, Reese encouraged the 8 foot flippin sticks.

There was also a something posted on the Tacklewarehouse website under Casting Rods > Lamiglas > Certified Pro Graphite Casting Rods which mentions the XC704J. A great rod by the way.
Excerpt from that site:
"The Lamiglas XC704J is the rod Skeet Reese used to toss Lucky Craft spinnerbaits on his way to winning the 2009 Bassmaster's Classic on the Red River in Louisiana."

There is also a youtube video where Skeet mentions the XC704J rod and other equipment he used to win.
