Guide spacing on my ARRA 9' 2 piece 1 to 4

Hi Guys-
I'm in the process of wrapping a 9' 2 piece ARRa and I've got a question. My testing has the first guide on the upper section - as does my friends factory version of the same blank. I'm concerned that this creates a lot of stress on the furrel - I've always had at least one guide on the lower section of my 2 piece rods. I'm using the fuji low-riders and would love to here you guys oppinion.

With the low-rider guides I

With the low-rider guides I would run a guide on the butt and probably about 3" below the Farrel.
