Scratch or Crack in blank?

I noticed a scratch in my cert pro 89mtc. Its right before the first guide and Im not sure if its a crack or just a deep scratch. Its about 3/4 to and inch long. Iv never broke a rod that low so im not sure if its an issue, so i though id let you guys know since your the experts.

justin i have a 8-6 that has

justin i have a 8-6 that has grown a bubble under the rode name above the real seat kinda odd 2. Never got it hot or bent it catches fish fine would you think that would be considerd a factory flaw?

I realy dont know, never

I realy dont know, never built rods. Is yours in the epoxy or is it just the blank. Only think i can thing of that could cause that is laying it in the hot sun. But idk im no expert
