I was talking to a reliable source at one of my local sporting goods store and
this person told me that he had heard that the new stealth si rods are going to be
taking the place of the xmg 50 rods in the future. I was wondering if this could be
true. I already own five of your xmg 50 rods. If this becomes true I would assume
that getting replacement blanks for broken or damaged rods would be hard at best
to get from the warranty and repair department. If I was looking to trade in three or four of
my xmg rods for up grades to the stealth rods what would I be looking at paying for each rod?
Any answers or help would be great.

At this time we have no plans on getting rid of the XMG line. As a matter of fact this last year we just added two new models to the XMG's. As far as swapping out your XMG's for stealth's you would have to go through the warranty and repair department and see what they can do for you. Hope this helps.

Hi there--
Can you please tell me what the best uses of the new XMG rods are? Still not sure I've figured out the mag Taper concept.
Thanks.
The new EXC 94 MT was desinged as either a heavy drift rod for large steelhead and light salmon or for fishing hardware. Personally I use the 94 MT for fishing spoons and spinners and love it. Soft tip to feel the thump of the spoon and still fast enough to telegraph the spinner vibration and plenty of power in the butt section to drive the hook home. Hope this helps some.
Is this rod as sensitive add the other xmgs for drifting
Yes it is just as sensative as the others. Other than action the only real other difference is the physical weight of the rod. It weighs a bit more just simply because we had to use more material for the rod to be able to cast more weight and handle larger fish. Hope this helps.
