Hello,
I am looking for a new casting rod or two that will fit most of the techniques that I fish. I realize that one rod will not fit all of them but would like to have a pole that will suit most of them.
Spoon Drift fishing for steelhead - 2/5th oz spoon used most often
Bobber drift fishing for steelhead
Corkie and Yarn drift for salmon
Rivers - Wenatchee, Icicle, Carbon, Hoh and Sol Duc
Plunking with herring and 4 oz pyramid sinker
mooching with herring with 4oz banana weight
downrigger trolling for salmon
Rivers - Icicle, Columbia
Also mooching out of ketchikan alaska.
Thanks.
As a side note the X 10 MTC does very well hooked into a 60lb halibut.

I would suggest either the Si 94 MC or the EXC 94 MT for your steelhead drift fishing, spoon fishing, and bobber fishing. As far as a salmon plunking, trolling or downrigging rod I would take a look at our XCC 1064 GH. Hope this helps.
