Sicking Snap on cast

Today while casting for walleyes here in colorado, my mostest favorite rod died. During a cast as rod was unloading the rod made a terrible sounding crack. It broke between #2 and #3 guides. Perfectly straight and round break just like the rod had been scored and then snapped.
IFW842UL blank. Fuji guides and seat. Stradic 1000 reel. 4LB test Berkley Nanofil.
This rod has done it all. Kokannee and trout at high mountain lakes trolling with downrigger.
Casting weightless plastic flukes to the hybrid stripers, biggest 8lbs with 4lb test.
2 weeks ago 22inch 3.4lb walleye using rogues.
The biggest, while trolling for trout, was a super skinny 36inch 10lb pike at spinney mountain reservoir.
Is the rod under warranty? Or did I wear it out?
You know I bought 2 at the same time and the 2nd one does not feel the same as this one, which I dont understand.
I was planning on trying out IFW842L, but might have to go with a different model. I built up the GFW932UL but it is way to soft compared with IFW ultra light.
Any direction would be greatly appreciated.
