G4 (July 2004) Inshore Classic IC70H - Warranty Question

Love the rod. Unfortunately it broke today fighting a 30lb striped bass. Had an Avet MXL mounted on it with 25lb Berkley Big Game. Will Lamiglas honor the warranty if you can not locate the receipt?

I have a lamiglass:

Inshore Classic IC70H
Inshore Classic IC70MH
Surf King 11MHC
BFC 5610 RT

So I'm a pretty good customer and I think they should take care of it. The rod literally snapped, it was not a result of abuse. I will try to locate a copy of the receipt but it is a long shot at best. What do they do in these situations?
