Hello - first post. We tournament fish to catch lake trout - limit 100 fish a day. We key on the small fish vertical jigging in 200 - 300 feet of water using a 1 - 2 oz jig with a fly above. The bite is super light, more like a change in weight than a tap. I am looking for a new rod that will help detect more bites. Some of the top fisherman are using the Excel 664 C. Any rod you would recommend that would be more sensitive in a medium weight - micro guides? Thanks.
