The XCC 802 would work, but a K15 will max that rod out. I would say take a look at the new XCC 803. Maybe a little bit much for a smaller wiggle warts but an awesome salmon plug rod. Hope this helps.

I ran Brad's wigglers on my XCF 803s and they worked pretty well. That rod is amazing!

Found a couple of xcf 802's at sportco for 175 a peice plus 20% off. Havent used them yet but im itching to try a couple of my best tadpollys for winter steelhead with them. Now that there discontinued what will happen if i end up breaking one of them.

If it was a warranty break than you would get the XCC 802 as a replacement. Hope this helps.

Yea thats helpful. I hope i dont break them. They sit in the boat 24/7 so if one does break i hope its on a big fish. I love these things even tho i like the new xcc models. Its kinda like the old fenwick 83c rods they just arnt coming back.
