I am looking for a rod that will be good for fishing both from a kayak and wading in the back bays and flats around New Jersey. I'll be going after early season strippers, blues, fluke, and weakfish. Probably throwing tiny baits, grass shrimp and killies, as well as poppers, swimbaits, and jerkbaits in smaller sizes. I am leaning toward either the kayak series or pro-poppin series. Also anyone have real suggestions that would pair nicely for this use.
