So I'm looking for a salmon rod for bottom bouncing on the upper frazer river ( Hope BC) 10,6 medium heavey or heavy with 1- 5 onces of weight, but went to try a number of different rods to find them extremely heavy and uncomfortable. I looked at the certified pro which is 15% lighter in weight, but I dont think these rods can handle 30-40 lbs kings here. Can some one recommend a rod to match with my shimano calcutta TE 400 series reel?
