NORTH SHORE LONG ISLAND

I MOSTLY FISH BAYS AND HARBORS ON THE NORTH SHORE OF LI, SOMETIMES THE SOUND. WAS DECIDING BETWEEN THE RON ARRA 1022-2 ( 8'6") OR THE RON ARRA 1083-2 (9 FT)....USE MOSTLY 1 TO 1 1/2 OZ PENCILS & 1 OZ BUCKTAILS...ANY ADVICE? ANYONE EVER COMPARE THIS TO A G LOOMIS 8'6" SUR1023S SURF ROD?

I fish the North Shore and

I fish the North Shore and find find my XS81MS/Penn 5500ss perfect for my needs, I'm sure the Arra 8'6"would be an excellent choice.
