Want to get a new spinning rod and must make a choice of a specific model between a XSRA 1203-2 & a XSRA 1205-2:

My question is if that the XSRA 1205 will give same spinning distance with a 2oz. lure than the XSRA1230, also like to know if the XSRA 1205 is much stronger (stiffer).

Hello Scuba,
The XSRA 1205 will give more distance with a 2oz + lure and also is rated for 1-4 oz lures. The 1205 is a great all around surf rod and is stronger and more firm than than the XSRA 1203-2 designed for lighter tackle usage.
