I own two of the XC725 Tournament Frog Rods. It is a great for heavy cover as well as walking frogs in open water. In addition, the XFT766 is the frog rod of choice for many of the California pros. The additional length provides some extra casting distance and leverage for horsing big fish out of the slop.

Steve, stick withthe XC725 for most of our waters, it is perfect for braid and frogs. Now if you want something even more powerful, check out he Magnum Grass Rod, the XFT 797 for braid.
ciao,
Marc
