Help with repair

hello, i have an older 1308-t salmon moocher in excellent condition. it was my uncles and i inherited it when he passed away. for some reason he ground off the trigger on the reel seat. can this be fixed. can a new handle be put on? i would really like to keep and use this rod since it is in like new condition. thank you

Your only real option is to

Your only real option is to send it back to us here at the factory and pay to have a new trigger reel seat put on the rod. This will also require you to get new cork on the whole rod as that is the only way we can make it work. Hope this helps.
