I received a Lamiglas Esprit EC86MCT from a friend. Since it is a discountinued model I have not been able to find out any information as the action or the power rating. I know it looks like a great steelhead rod. Does anybody know the first C? and the M? stand for? I assume the last C is caster and T(handle type ) the first E is foresprit
Of course the 86 is 8-6" too I am guessing.
It appears that this would be a great summer run steelhead rod.

EC stands for Espirit Concept blank, the first XMG 50 blanks. 8 ft 6 in, medium power, Mag Taper, or Med/Mag blank design in a casting configuration. I think you superinposed the last two letters if it's listed as the 8 to 17 lb line rod.
