XCC 1064 Rod Problem.......

I have just recently purchased two of the new XCC 1064 rods with cork handles from your shop. I picked these rods up right after they were made. I have fished three times with these rods out of westport. After the first trip the cork on one of the rods started to flake off and made a few dimps in the handle. the handle looks almost like there was putty put in the handle to smooth out the rough spots. On the following two trips the silver round butts on both rods came unglued from the handles. I was hoping I could send these rods back in and get new ones possibly with graphite handles instead. I own over 12 of your rods and have never seen problems like this before. I dont know if these rods we"re rushed to finish or what but this is not the quality or craftsmanship I have comed to love with your rods. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I too have just bought a

I too have just bought a Lamiglas cert pro X 96 JS tow days ago and the cork on the rod handle is poor at best. I have a spot on my handle that i just noticed that is full of filler that is the size of a dime around and really deep .I noticed this shoddyness once I washed the filler out of it after a steelhead mission fishing eggs.
The person who build my rod and put the cork together misaligned the huge hole on purpose instead of just putting a better piece of cork on this handcrafted rod to make it right. The first guide was not clear coated well either, the guide moves off the rod a bit if you touch it. My rod states that it was built in 2010 and seems that it too was built in a rush. Jon Posey assured me if I ever had any issue with one of my rods he would take care of me. I would like to send this X96 JS in and swap it for a nicely built X 10 MS 8-12 cert pro spinning. I am sure it will not be any trouble.

Sorry for the late responses

Sorry for the late responses folks our server has been down for a few days which ment that we could not comment on any of your questions. I would just send in a letter and your rods to our warranty and repair department explaining your problems with the rods and they will take care of whatever you need. Graham if you have something special set up with John than I would suggest that you call our factory here in Woodland and talk to him directly. Hope this helps guys.
