G1000 VS. Northwest Series

I'm curious as to the major differences between the G1000 series and the Northwest Series Salmon/Steelhead rods. Is it primarily the graphite? Do both come with a lifetime warranty? The Northwest Series seems like an awesome rod, but I just wanted to know why there is such a jump in the price from the NW to the G1000 series.

The G1000 is a higher modules

The G1000 is a higher modules of graphite as well as a step up in components. Also the norwest special is made over in China as the G1000 are made here in Woodland. Much more expensive to build local. Hope this helps.
