I am looking for a couple of new RODS # 1 for deeper rock fish mainly Lingcod - 16 to 30 oz for weight and 60 / 80# braid -- In looking at the 2009 catalog is the BFC 66 XH a good choice? #2 is the BFC 5610 RT the best for Halibut 300 / 600 ft depth -- 2 to 4 lbs of weight using 100# braid .. THANKS

ASwan.....pretty good job picking your own rods! The BFC 66XH is an excellent choice for fishing big lings, or heavy current for bottom fish. The 5610RT would be perfect for halibut in deep water. John

JOHN Thanks for the info , I will have to add to my rod collection -- Speaking of rods I have a BL 7050 LB that REALLY does good for live bait albacore. I fish one of the Charter Boats out of Westport,WA for the albacore..
